      Position Summary:

      The Business Development Manager will play an integral role to the success of the Monster Energy E-Commerce Channel Team. The BDM will lead the management of all E-Commerce reports to determine opportunities for improvements based on efficiency and adjustments in consumer and customer demand, as well as brand/item performance and pricing.

      The BDM’s will lead in providing full- suite analytics which includes, but is not limited to, building and maintaining reports and dashboards, as well as working with the team on business reviews. The BDM will work cross-functionally with other key departments to aid in providing the E-Commerce Channel Team with in-depth business reviews for internal or external use with the goal of uncovering opportunities to further grow market share.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Work with the National Account Managers (NAM), Directors, and Leadership to ensure optimal price package promotion plans and sources of growth
      • Provide analysis and interpretation of internal depletions and external market data, highlighting any underlying trends to identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to increase the organization’s sales
      • Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and thorough analysis of sales financials, and meet with Supply Chain Department to offer suggestions as to the results of these changes
      • Establish and implement best practices, including continuous improvement of a standardized process by using alternative views such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios where appropriate
      • Identify and propose new product technology or sku’s opportunities and updates
      • Review monthly financials and sales reports to determine opportunities for improvements based on efficiency and adjustments in consumer and customer demand, as well as brand/item performance and pricing
      • Review and evaluate pricing of all items sold, based on the analysis of our competition, gross margin, and PTC’s (Price to Consumer)
      • Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly business reports and dashboards
      • Assist in and prepare sales presentations for internal and external use
      • Prepare Ad Hoc reports for management as requested
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Position Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
      • 3+ years of Analyst, CPG, Category Management, or Space Management experience
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook
      • Ability to use Microsoft Power BI
      • Proficient in creating and managing business reports and dashboards
      • Proficient in creating business reviews
      • Expert data management skills
      • Strong math, time management, and customer service skills
      • Flexibility to travel as needed

      Base Pay Range : $65,000 - $87,000
