- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation, relationship maturity, including follow ups, price proposal presentations and negotiations, tender writing where applicable, and closure sales through contract negotiation and PO receipt, handing over the product implementation team.
- Promote new product features, move from on-premises to cloud hosted solutions, and manage escalated support requests.
- Maintain and update the CRM database.
- Plan and prepare budgets and sales forecasts.
- Schedule and attend relevant meetings and trade shows.
- Present the products or general concepts to promote the use of animal management software, including face to face presentations and webinars, showcasing existing functionalities and new product features.
- Work closely with the administration team to prepare marketing materials such as advertisements or presentations.
- Manage proposals, contract negotiations, PO receipts and pursue overdue customer payments.
- Maintain existing customer relations and play a key role in planning and organizing bi-annual user group meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in Laboratory Animal Science, including sales experience is desired.
- Laboratory Animal Science expertise, including regulatory processes.
- Ability to effectively lead and guide teams while maintaining an approachable and service-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with employees, management, and third parties to ensure quality customer service.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural customer setting.
- Ability of proactive problem-solving in addressing issues quickly, creatively, and innovatively.
- Detail-orientation with the ability to analyze, prioritize, and multi-task using strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic including great personal drive, motivation, discipline, and initiative, including the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for communication with our team and clients. Proficiency in written and spoken German and/or French is also an advantage.
