Qualify leads into opportunities with the Business Partners
Ensure quantitative and qualitative development/progress of pipeline
Ensure generation of leads from business network and industry events
Participate in ongoing scanning of market trends and competitive landscape
Enhance Satair's value proposition to align with strategic objectives (internal & external)
Prepare and present Business Partner-tailored Satair value proposition
Conduct Business Partner specific business analytics and design business model solutions
Initiate and secure operational implementation of new OEM business into execution (NPLI process)
Liaise and negotiate expansion of existing distribution agreements or new distribution agreements, including analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
Partner with Finance to build business case and documentation for internal approval matrix
Partner with Legal to manage contract negotiations and Satair compliance
Engage and develop internal Airbus network to support Satair Material Services
Meet or exceed annual planned new business contribution (revenue and margin)
Complete all required training and maintain 100% compliance to Ethics & Compliance guidelines
Other duties as assigned
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business management, purchasing/procurement, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience is preferable.
5-8 year experience in related field.
Monthly to Satair sites in the U.S. and supplier meetings and trade events.
Thorough insight into aftermarket material services distribution model
Broad knowledge about the aerospace industry and landscape
Usage of tools for managing opportunities (Contract Management, CRM, MS Excel)
Strong oral skills and able to present Satair's value proposition and internal approval requests
Analytical and able to work with value-calculators as well as business cases
Able to build a compelling storyline and pitch preparation
Strong written skills and able to work with written material in MS PPT/Google Slides
Project management mindset
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Strong oral and written communications.
English language and ability to communicate clearly and concisely with the written word

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager drives growth through expansion of existing and new distribution agreements. This role will identify and close new business opportunities with external partners and ensure successful implementation of new business with internal stakeholders. The role has responsibility to manage opportunity leads and projects in the Business Development pipeline, supporting Satair financial objectives. Serve as a key coordination point and go-to person for selected OEMs on tactical and strategic level. Ensure OEM and Customer satisfaction.
