      We are currently seeking an energetic, customer-focused Business Development Manager - Mining to join our team in Newcastle NSW or Brisbane QLD. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of UGL’s growing Mining sector.

      About Your Role:

      As the Business Development Manager – Mining, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding UGL’s Mining customer base across QLD. Your key responsibilities will include:

      • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key Mining clients, including Yancoal, Glencore, New Hope, Idemitsu, and Peabody
      • Developing strategic account plans to achieve sales and financial forecasts
      • Leading strategic tenders and driving business development initiatives
      • Supporting UGL's OHV Unit Exchange (UTEX) program, focusing on growing our WA presence
      • Reporting on sales performance, ensuring continuous improvement and growth


      About You:

      You are a passionate Business Development or Account Management professional with a strong background in Mining, Civil Infrastructure, or Construction. Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and build long-term relationships makes you a standout candidate.

      Other key skills and experience include:

      • Proven track record in driving sales growth and sector expansion
      • Strong communication and negotiation skills
      • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
      • Knowledge of heavy mobile equipment (Komatsu fleet) and maintenance practices is desirable
