- Collaborate with sales teams to develop goals, strategies, and drive opportunities
- Explore and help develop new business models and market development programs
- Partner with Professional Affairs Clinical Education (PACE) team to deliver Clinical Immersions and education events such as journal clubs, interest groups and workshops
- Maintain a high level of product and procedural knowledge, keeping up to date with clinical trends and research
- Liaise with training to provide in-field product and procedural coaching to sales teams
- Develop and maintain KOL relationships within relevant specialties
- Support the development and delivery of marketing strategies including focus areas, product launches and campaigns
- Initiate and manage marketing activities such as voice of customer and advisory boards
- Uncover and share real-world market insights and customer feedback as a conduit between sales and marketing teams
- Engage with relevant societies, supporting delivery of sponsored events and conferences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience and success in sales or marketing roles within medical devices industry
- Willingness to travel as required to manage business priorities across the assigned region.
- Specific experience in Obesity or Metabolic Health preferred

A Day in the Life
In your role as Business Development Manager you will enjoy the opportunity to engage and influence sales, marketing and clinical education teams to position Medtronic and the Surgical Operating Unit, as a valuable and trusted partner to our customers.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the business strategy to gain market leadership in bariatric surgery business
This role is based in Head Office in Macquarie Park, Sydney and will report into the Marketing Manager ANZ.
