Job Description
- Req#: 31550
- Plan acquisition strategy with Sales, organize early customer involvement, drive acquisitions to reach plan targets, track and report status.
- Work with Sales & Product Management to provide XE RfQ and business planning inputs for the budget. Lead the definition of annual acquisition target per product and region.
- Support early customer involvement through customer visit, etc. Create early customer involvement through proactive relationship with the OEMs (visit, workshop…) to support future product road map.
- Work closely with Sales & Product Management to prepare future quotes in terms of timing and product requirements.
- Track planned acquisition to success, must wins and report status/KPIs. Challenge the organization and department to reach successful acquisitions. Create Weekly & monthly reports. Develop action plans to achieve acquisition target. Sync Status with BU4
- Lead the RfQ himself/herself or support acquisition Project Manager working hand in hand with the project management department. Coordinate (if not handed over to PM) the RfQ-process until submission of quotation together with Sales.
- Further develop tool/method/template to achieve efficient acquisition process within MAHLE Electronics.
- Sales, Engineering or Business Management experience.
- MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5-year experience working in a Product/Project manager/Sales position in a Automotive Tier1 company.
- Proven experience in leading acquisition.
- Heavy direct customer contact experience
- English professional excellent written and spoken language.
- Spanish excellent written and spoken language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clear ability to report clearly and straight.
- Structured & Strategic capabilities to lead cross-functional teams.
- Project & Product Financial deep knowledge
- Knowledge of Quality Gates and Project Development Process.
- Electronic development background is an advantage.
- Knowledge of market and product analysis is an advantage.
