      Where you'll be working
      Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.       What you'll be doing
      The Revenue Officer is primarily responsible for:

      • providing efficient billing service and administrative support to the outpatient revenue business development processes within WSLHD by maximising potential patient fee revenue and minimising billing errors submitted to Medicare.
      • provide support for all District Revenue projects including Outpatient Billing Improvement Projects

      Selection Criteria:

      1. Understanding of Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), Revenue and associated bulk billing guideline within the public health system.
      2. Comprehensive experience in utilising PowerBilling Revenue Collection (PBRC), Revenue Portal, i.PM (Patient Administration System), Microsoft Office applications, Content Management (HPECM) and Powerchart.
      3. Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, considering the impact on others to achieve outcomes.
      4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people from a range of professional and social backgrounds.
      5. Demonstrated high level of analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.
      6. Capacity to work under limited direction and as an effective team member with the ability to facilitate and support the team to achieve required outcomes.
      7. Demonstrated exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
