CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS - This position is accountable for managing a profile of BDR M&P/Facility-based customers in order to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the P&M Division. Position will serve as the single point of contact and will manage BDR M&P /Facility-based customer relationships, coordinate pricing across geography/span of control. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to make major inroads to specific BDR M&P /facility-based related customers and provide for Protective and Marine Coating needs in all of those various facilities/locations. - This position will work with specified sale representative teams within stated geography to ensure that specific BDR M&P /Facility locations receive the same level of service program offerings. The BDR M&P /Facility Account Representative must be able to effectively utilize resources, marketing technical, and work with decision making facility individuals to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. This person will also work with Product Marketing to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs. - Will manage a territory that will vary based on Sales Manager input and aligned with current Flooring Contractor Reps within that region. DIMENSIONS: - P&L/TIS Responsibility for assigned accounts. - Implement marketing programs for the assigned accounts and related business. - Develop strategies to increase market share within span of control. - Serve as the go-to person for these MRO/Facility Locations as identified, single point of contact. - Negotiating Pricing with the assigned MRO/Facility Accounts. - Development and maintaining of customer communications, number of facilities and locations. - Development and maintenance of customer pricing and customer coatings specifications (if applicable). POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: - High School or some college Preferred: - Bachelor’s in Business KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: - Ability to work with all levels of the P&M Sales Organization - Ability to work with PSG National Account PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: q Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. q Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. q Must be able to climb and descend stairs. q Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. q Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. q May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. q May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. q May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. q May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. q Work surfaces may include concrete. q Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required. q Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. q Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
