      Who We Need:

      The Business Intelligence Engineer I is responsible for helping stakeholders at all levels within the company automate processes and provide critical information needed to maximize business performance. This will include creating and implementing data structures, ad hoc analysis, creating business intelligence dashboards, and developing code to automate system updates and alerts.

      What You Will Do:

      • Partner with teammates to develop automated alerts, system updates, and dynamic dashboards that drive strategic decisions and guide key business activities.
      • Use programming to automate manual processes being performed throughout the company.
      • Engage with stakeholders to confirm that defined data terms align with their requirements and expectations.
      • Help develop robust data pipelines and transformations to serve as the foundational layer for reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
      • Manage your tasks completely, including prioritization, working with stakeholders for design and specs, communicating status to all, writing the code, and documenting what you've done.

      What You Need:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
      • Financial Services or Mortgage Lending experience is a plus.
      • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating, selecting, and optimizing large language models, including crafting high-impact prompts for advanced NLP applications.
      • 1-3 years of Python, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript programming experience required.
      • 1-3 years experience with at least one enterprise level Business Intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker) required.
      • Experience using webhooks and APIs is a plus.
      • Experience with Palantir Foundry is a plus.
      • You communicate well with stakeholders at all levels of the company whether receiving data or report requests, documenting those requests, investigating data discrepancies or patiently assisting users.
      • You love having agency in your work and finding new ways to be better. Learning, creation, change and thoughtful debate are things you enjoy.
      • You’re comfortable working in a team where each of us has a huge impact and we depend on each other to get things done.
      • Ability to write and maintain code in various programming languages.
      • Awareness of Data Warehouse and table structures.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from eighty three thousand dollars to one hundred sixteen thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.
