- Work with Banking management in driving strategic initiatives related to business growth, clients, people, capital, compliance, and coordinate across product groups, geographical clusters, sectors, and functional partners to help drive effective change
- Operate business processes; oversee and prepare management analyses and reporting, including build-out of a Banking KPI dashboard
- Streamline processes, technology, and build consistent policies and procedures across individual businesses
- Conduct in-depth research and perform deep dives on specific businesses; develop a strong understanding of market dynamics, emerging trends, and industry implications.
- Numerous ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management, framing issues and synthesizing key findings of team analyses and recommendations; special projects as required
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and coaching, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development among junior team members
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 7+ years of relevant experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Banking or Commercial Banking (in client facing, strategy, business management or consulting roles) is required
- Proven experience successfully driving strategic projects across a large matrixed organization
- Strong problem solving, analytical, execution and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to independently own work and operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Ability to conduct research/analysis, synthesize large sets of data and convey a clear story supported by findings, top consulting background a plus
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise
- Consistently develop and maintain effective work relationships, and work as a team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or equivalent preferred
Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: the Investment Bank, which meets clients’ capital raising needs and provides merger and acquisition and equity and debt capital markets-related strategic financing solutions; the Corporate Bank, which serves as the conduit of Citi’s full product suite to clients; and the Commercial Bank, which helps mid-sized companies address the challenges of rapid growth and international expansion.
The Banking Business Execution team is responsible for developing and executing the integrated Banking strategy, managing common capabilities, and driving cross-business initiatives to achieve simplification, efficiency, and increased productivity.
We would like to recruit a Senior Vice President for the Banking Business Execution team to help drive execution of the integrated Banking model, provide support for strategic initiatives, and run essential business execution functions.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
