      What You Will Do:

      • Manages the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions for the organization.
      • Managing a team of 4 accountants and liaison with R2R COE
      • Full responsibility for 2 legal entities, including Accounts Payable and customer invoicing
      • Providing financial oversight for UPS Aftermarket parts warehouse
      • Leading and ensuring a strong compliance culture
      • Evaluating and reporting on staff performance, participating in employee selection, providing career guidance and training direction, complying with personnel practices, and promoting team awards and successes
      • Participating in the development and support of business strategies for the Griffin facility
      • Communicating effectively within the team and with internal and external customers and data providers, including presentations to all levels of management
      • Proactively interacting with Griffin management team providing support and guidance
      • Providing technical guidance and expertise on business issues
      • Collaborating with internal and external parties as appropriate

      What You Have:

      • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired
      • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
      • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
      • Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
      • Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
      • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
      • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
      • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
      • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

      • This position will be located in our Griffin, GA office
      • This role is a full time position and currently requires 5 days a week in office

      Summary Pay Range:

      $126,000.00 - $189,000.00

      Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
