      The CAMI team is going all electric and we want EVerybody in! The General Motors BrightDrop team is tasked with developing and commercializing smarter ways to deliver goods and services. This position will be supporting launching an all new facility to produce EV Battery packs at the GM Cami location in Ingersoll to supply batteries for GM electric vehicles.

      About the role:

      Our team is looking for a Battery Plant Business Planner to support the plant by developing, implementing, and executing business strategy. The Plant Planner interacts with stakeholders throughout the facility developing strategic plant production schedules and monitoring daily staffing.

      Responsibilities:

      • Implementing and executing established business processes while fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation

      • Support Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes across multiple departments

      • Serve as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities as required

      • Work with senior organizational leadership to review daily metrics (KPI’s) and discuss/implement strategies for improvement

      • Provide insight into the current state of the business and guidance to meet company objectives and goals

      • Creating monthly strategic plant production schedules

      • Collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the plant, building good working relationships

      • Monitoring daily staffing planning across the organization, including the production of reports and working with stakeholders to understand plant requirements

      Additional Job Description

      Qualifications:

      • Two-year degree or professional certification in a related field or equivalent work experience

      • Highly proficient interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization.

      • Skilled problem-solver with capability to determine solutions to unusual problems.

      • Proven leadership, planning and organizational skills.

      • Flexibility – Must be able to quickly change direction throughout the day.

      • Highly proficient oral and written communication skills.

      • Experience preparing presentation and written communications

      • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.
