- Provides world-class customer service.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Participate in the new hire peer interviewing process.
- Provides new hire training and cross-training, as needed, and performance evaluations of office staff.
- Identifies and tracks trends of payment errors; track/monitor claims identified as a Contract Issue
- Identify areas for improvement in office processes and procedures.
- Ensure staff perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Implement and monitor office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage and maintain office equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that office operations comply with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborates with other departments to create systems and problem solve ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and/or patient care delivery.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and ensure compliance.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices..
- Performs related duties and projects as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of work experience in Revenue Cycle Knowledge: Medical Terminology, ICD-10 coding practices, CPT coding practices, DRG coding practices, UB04 claim forms, HCFA 1500 claim forms, and Revenue Cycle best practices.
- Experience in office administration, finance, or related fields.
- Must be available to work hours and days as needed based on departmental/system demands. Must be available for on-call scheduling support when required. Resolves Physician's office and Patient issues. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other software applications

Summary: Under general supervision of the Business Office Director [JMB1] [JMB2] . Contributes to the processing of various tasks required to achieve department goals and objectives. Adheres to all policies and procedures documented in the Connally Memorial Medical Center policy and procedure manual. Demonstrates knowledge of departmental financial clearance and displays leadership skills to lead a wide range of duties in support of departmental efficiencies.
