      Job Summary

      The Business Operations Coordinator assists leadership in the management of vendor relationships, negotiation of pricing and contractual terms, invoicing, and performance of suppliers. The position is responsible for monitoring contract terms, verifying and approving invoices, facilitating and negotiating new contracts, and approving both new and existing supply vendors. Responsible for the execution and implementation of all medical supply related contracts. Position will serve as the liaison between the Health System and the GPO for contract inquiries and compliance implications. The coordinator will manage the product “road map” driving product conversions through appropriate channels The coordinator will track and publish first year GPO contractual guaranteed savings and subsequent years annual savings Additionally, the position will work closely with enterprise departments such as legal and supply chain for the efficient handling of agreements and invoicing.

      Job Requirements

      • Education
        • Required:Bachelor's degree or 8 years of experience
      • Experience
        • Required: Minimum 3 years’ supply chain experience
        • Preferred: Minimum 5+ years purchasing and supply chain experience
      • Skills
        • Must be able to work effectively with staff, public, external agencies, and suppliers
        • Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise good judgment and decision-making
        • Understanding of GPO contracts and contract implementations
        • Strong Excel skills
        • Presentation and communication skills
        • Problem solving
        • Critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation and Personnel development
        • Ability to travel on occasion
