      Position Overview:

      We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a pivotal member of our department, you will be responsible for managing various operational aspects including department purchasing, financial support, and academic functions.

      Essential Functions:

      Here are a few ways you will contribute to the success of our department:

      • Efficiently processing travel authorizations and managing expense reimbursements for both students and faculty, ensuring seamless financial operations.
      • Coordinating all of our senior design purchasing activities and invoicing of sponsors, contributing to the smooth execution of crucial academic projects.
      • Serving as a liaison between faculty and Shared Services, your role includes processing incoming packages, fostering effective communication, and providing logistical support.
      • Proactively forecasting and reporting on department financial accounts, providing valuable insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
      • Oversee our MS and MEng program admissions and MS graduate assistantships, ensuring a streamlined process for our department and campus partners.
      • Provide support for assessment activities and course scheduling, contributing to the ongoing improvement and excellence of our educational offerings.
      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
      • Ability to multitask and delegate
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
      • Ability to perform a wide range of duties and tasks
      • Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with faculty and staff
      Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with university systems
      • Experience with budget and forecasting
      Salary and Benefit s:

      Salary $47,195.20 to $48,000/year; commensurate with experience.
