      About the role

      We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our Sales Motion Strategy & Execution team to help drive strategic sales processes and improve the ZPA business. This individual will typically manage up to 3 initiatives in parallel, in addition to owning recurring programmatic responsibilities. An ideal candidate is a quick learner, sees around corners, possesses organizational expertise, is an excellent cross-functional communicator, and has a passion for building data driven solutions.

      Channel Strategy & Sales Process Design:

      • Identify, validate, and coordinate innovative cross-functional revenue and performance driving initiatives

      • Use extensive knowledge and analysis to develop strategic insights, challenge long-standing beliefs, and influence improvements

      • Build forward looking sales strategies and operationalize to bring plans to life

      • Define and stand-up processes that drive impactful efficiency gains while adhering to programmatic compliance requirements

      Analysis:

      • Partner cross-functionally to define and develop metrics and implement reporting tools to monitor performance and empower decisions

      • Use knowledge and data analysis to query data, develop strategic insights, challenge long-standing beliefs, drive step-change improvements, and anticipate future needs

      Project Management:

      • Demonstrate a blend of business savvy and PM skills by translating objectives into action plans, and maintaining day-to-day oversight of workstreams

      • Build positive relationships, acquire commitment to results, and enforce accurate documentation

      • Champion the initiatives you are working on, cultivating confidence and passion for the vision with partners and impacted teams

      • Craft timely and accurate communications for business partners and senior leaders

      This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

      In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $88,600.00 - $141,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

      In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

      Who you are

      • 5+ years of proven experience in strategy, business operations, analytics, sales and/or project management.

      • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives.

      • Track record of delivering results while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

      • Aptitude and excitement for mapping process improvements and conceptualizing innovative solutions for ambiguous problems.

      • Collaborative work-style -- empowers leaders and partners to get results.

      • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to anticipate downstream challenges.

      • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

      • Highly proficient in varying analytical and project management tools (Excel, SQL, Domo, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Tableau).
