We’re looking for a driven professional to join UBS Bank USA and support our efforts ensuring our business continuity, operational resilience and resolution practices are consistent with regulatory and industry standards. As Business Risk Management Support you will:
• execute on the timely collection of data for risk appetite and operational risk metric reporting including, consolidate business risk appetite metrics from various sources, perform validation of data accuracy and perform trend analysis/ research reasons for trend
• assist the Business Risk Manager in identifying and assessing operational risks.
• maintain Banking Products Process hierarchy inventory and control mapping
• provide advisory to the quarterly risk assessment process for Banking including compilation of all data inputs (Risk Metrics) needed for taxonomy view assessments
• aid in the execution of the Front-Line Unit Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Process and corresponding risk analysis
• support the implementation of sound risk management practices in support of the 1st LOD Non-Financial Risk framework, including Risk Appetite Assessments (RAA), (RCSA), Event or Incident Management and Issues and Actions Management including monitoring and reporting on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
• aid in the implementation and review of 1st LOD written procedures and desktop instructions for areas of responsibility to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory and Bank expectations.
• creation, maintenance and mapping in ARIS of process hierarchies to process flows and controls for the assigned business units
• assist in identifying and evaluating control environments and the collection and storage of underlying evidence for bi-annual Control Assessment for Banking products
• collaborate with lines of business to identify, record, and track inherent and residual risks.
• support the BRM in developing & implementing risk management strategies, policies procedures.
• identify and capture risk events, performing root cause analysis and proposing recommendations for control enhancements.
• analyze data to identify trends and potential risk areas.
• prepare and report metrics and dashboards for presentation to management and stakeholders.
• partner with Audit, Compliance, Regulators on examination management& best practice assurances.
• stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• facilitate risk management workshops and meetings

The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
You will join the Business Risk Management Team, reporting to the Business Risk Manager Lending and Non-Lending Products. The Business Risk Management (BRM) Team is responsible for providing informed risk management support consistently, sustainably, effectively and efficiently to the 1st LOD Banking Products Business units.
Your expertise
• ideally 3-5 years of experience with operational risk and/or compliance
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
• track record of successfully supporting business users with reporting & analytics, decision support, and presentation support
• ability to interact with all levels of management, multi-task and work well under pressure
• strong negotiation and influence skills
• analytical, consultative and investigative skills and an independent, driven approach
• understanding of regulatory environment
• organized, analytical & able to readily interpret data, including legal & compliance-related materials
• self-confident, have strong judgment & evidence of sound decision-making & problem-solving skills
• comfortable collaborating with diverse constituencies
• proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookAbout us
