Job Description

- Contribute to the development of Group Methodology and implement and maintain the risk management process.
- Conduct ad-hoc risk assessments, sign-off on new products and initiatives, and get involved in special investigations.
- Define the Risk Appetite and Tolerance for the various risks faced in collaboration with the business and ensure that Key Risk Indicators are monitored and actively managed.
- Ensure that employees are adequately equipped to fulfill the various risk-related roles they play, and that the appropriate risk governance structures are in place.
- Monitor and report on risk issues and on the overall risk profile of the business.
- Roll-out Group Risk Initiatives.
- Business degree or equivalent NQF level 6 – Essential
- Business-oriented bachelor’s degree [e.g. Accounting, Law, Business Management, etc.] – Preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience in the relevant business sector.
- 2 years’ experience in a risk management discipline.
- it would be beneficial if you have experience/exposure to risk management in other African Markets (besides SA)
