We’re looking for a Business Risk Specialist to be part of the Global Family & Institutional Wealth (GFIW) Business Risk Organization to:
• review UBS’ most complex client groups for both traditional (AML/KYC, credit, conflicts of interest etc.) but also “black swan” risks
• implement cross-divisional client risk view across Global Wealth Management (GWM) and Investment Bank (IB)
• detect needs and implement solutions to improve existing processes or drive new ones, by crunching some data and rolling out automations when necessaryYour Career Comeback

Your team
In Review & Risk Intelligence, we are part of the global Business Risk Organization for GFIW. We support the Head of GFIW to discharge his responsibilities for cross-divisional risks of GFIW clients, using innovative solutions to design and perform risk deep dives into the most complex clients. We also give expert advice on various risk aspects allowing the business to best serve our most sophisticated clients.
As a Business Risk Specialist, you’ll play an important role in maintaining and developing the GFIW risk management framework.Your expertise
• at least 5 years of experience working in a risk-related role within the finance sector and university degree preferably with a focus in banking and finance, data analytics or similar
• a good command of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (formulas and pivot tables), any programming language know-how is an advantage (like VBA, R, Python)
• strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• an autonomous, diligent, and detail-oriented work style without losing the big picture
• good analytical skills with a fast understanding of complex processes

• experience in Credit, Compliance or Business Risk is a major plus
• know-how from Credit Suisse front operating systems is a plus
• excellent command of English (spoken and written), any other major language is an advantageAbout us
