      JOB TITLE: Business Support Manager
      LOCATION: London
      HOURS: Full Time
      WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our London office.

      About this opportunity

      We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Business Support Manager to join our Infrastructure, Energy & Industrials (IEI) team. You’ll help build outstanding analytics and insights that in turn enable coverage colleagues to spend more time with clients and transactions and equip them with better decision-making tools.

      Working closely with the lead business manager and wider IEI leadership team, you’ll provide key business management support to a team of circa 50 coverage professionals.

      Your accountabilities will include:

      • Support the Sector Head & Business Manager to ensure good leadership visibility across the Region/sector including the co-ordination and delivery of internal colleague events and external client/partner interactions, as well as regular internal communications.
      • Support and drive a culture of excellence in risk management, ensuring robust reporting and controls are in place to consistently drive positive outcomes.
      • Be a great partner with important internal customers (Finance, Client Products, Risk, Strategy) and act as key business partner.
      • Recommends ways to improve support for operations by changing policies, processes, standards and practices.
      • Act on behalf of the Business Manager on specific issues or committees/project teams and where appropriate manage projects ensuring alignment with Group and business strategy.
      • Support the Business Manager to prepare, analyse, review, brief and present a range of reports, papers and presentations (internal and external) from a wide variety of data sources. Administer team meetings, including preparation of agenda and materials.
      • Support the management of regular communications to ensure frontline teams remain updated on market developments, product knowledge, bank capability and industry/bank best practice.
      • Development and maintenance of IEI Power BI tooling and embedding standard methodologies across industry teams.

      What we need from you?

      • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple requests.
      • Strong data and analytics skills with the ability to produce insightful analysis at pace.
      • Demonstrable experience with excel. Power BI experience is a plus.
      • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
      • Strong Attention to detail, with the ability to look ahead and plan effectively.
