- Assist in implementing and maintaining low to moderately complex business processes within HR enterprise applications.
- Support system configuration tasks including data updates, workflow adjustments, and rule modifications under direction.
- Participate in documentation of configuration settings, validation rules, and business process flows.
- Work alongside senior analysts to understand application and reporting tool functionality.
- Develop familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, performance, compensation, and position management.
- Assist in planning and executing test cases for new features, enhancements, and system updates.
- Document testing results and report identified issues or inconsistencies for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate system changes meet defined business requirements.
- Participate in regression testing and post-deployment verification efforts during system updates.
- Provide first-line support for HR system issues and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Troubleshoot system errors and identify root causes under supervision.
- Document support cases and resolutions to contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist in implementing changes through formal change control processes.
- Deliver timely and accurate support to HR and organizational end users, modeling excellent customer service behavior.
- Monitor open service tickets to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Follow up with users to ensure satisfaction and resolution effectiveness.
- Contribute to the maintenance of user guides, training materials, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in discussions to identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and system usage.
- Assist in mapping current state and future state business processes with support from senior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT to support consistent system usage and reporting needs.
- Build technical and functional knowledge through ongoing training, reading, and participation in departmental meetings.
- Attend vendor education sessions and internal seminars to enhance system knowledge.
- Foster positive relationships across teams, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0+ years of experience in a related job discipline
- Basic understanding of databases, programming languages, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with system architectures and data modeling concepts is a plus.
- Ability to learn how to analyze business processes, suggest improvements, and support change initiatives.
- Strong willingness to problem-solve, assist with identifying issues, support testing activities, and help with documentation.
- Commitment to providing a positive customer service experience and adapting to the changing needs of the department.
- General understanding of how business operations work and interest in identifying opportunities for improvement and helping to design system solutions that align with business goals.
