- Install, test and configure highly complex hardware and software applications and programs
- Work occasional weekends and provide after hours support, including evenings and weekends as required
Perform functional and technical information systems support for assigned department: install and maintain application software and end user devices such as personal computers, laptops, tablets and smart phones; maintain and administer computer systems and applications; provide technical support and assistance to department end users and perform a variety of analytical duties relative to assigned area of responsibility. Candidates are expected to show a high degree of proficiency with the technologies listed above and to demonstrate expertise with hardware, network and software fundamentals and troubleshooting skills. Manage projects, be a self-starter, work under minimal supervision and be able to step right into the position ready to perform necessary functions. This employee will run moderate-sized technology projects and will provide status reports and project updates to management. Makes technology recommendations and gathers requirements from customers for technology projects.

Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, computer science, or business administration; and
Two (2) years of customer service experience in any combination of the following areas:
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of ITIL Foundation Certification within 6 months from date of hire.Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
