Correspondence Specialist II

Position Purpose:
Generates, processes and maintains provider and member correspondence for preservice and concurrent review.
Education/Experience:
Requires a High School diploma or GED
Requires 1 – 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of correspondence process including understanding medical record information preferred. Generates correspondence from EMR documentation and ensures correspondence tasks are processed in a timely manner to ensure compliance according to regulatory standards and policies
Updates and maintains correspondence templates based on regulatory, and interdepartmental correspondence inquiries
Coordinates all data collection, analysis, and reporting activities that impact processes
Assists with the compliance and turn-around time (TAT) log for all correspondence notifications
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects Recently lost 3 Contingent workers needing to backfill for Business needs. We will be working with Fl ABA work, fulfilling Peer 2 Peers and documenting and sending out relevant correspondence. Typical Day in the Role Schedule as detailed above, OT more than likely not expected. Typical workday depending on assignment, would be entry/scheduling of Peer 2 Peer, retrieving and resolving based on clinical decision, updating mbr record and sending correspondence. Team collaboration and communication is critical to the role. Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition Very resilient team, work hard to make sure providers received timely decisions. Assignments based on need so maybe different day to day in service of our members. Candidate Requirements Education/Certification Required: High School diploma/GED Preferred: Licensure Required: N/A Preferred: Must haves: Requires 1 – 2 years of related experience
