Summary:
We are looking for a New Intake Benefit Specialist to join our team! This position will be responsible for utilizing online and internal tools and making phone calls to verify patient coverage of diabetic equipment with their insurance carrier. We are looking for an individual that is a team player, with excellent time management, and communication skills. Remote opportunity is available for this position.Job Functions:
· Use online verification systems to ensure patient carrier coverage
· Utilize internal tools to verify contracting
· Make phone calls to insurance carriers to determine coverage
· Work across departments to solve complex problems
· Respond quickly to changing insurance requirements while remaining flexibleQualifications and Skills:
· Knowledge of Word, Outlooks, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce (preferred)
· Team player
· Must be initiative-taking, quick learner, and a self-starter
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
