C# / Full Stack Engineer (hedge fund tech)

Focus Capital Markets supports its NYC-based hedge fund by providing a unique opportunity for talented software engineers to work across various verticals within the organization.

In this role, you will assist the business by developing front-end and back-end trading applications, building and scaling APIs, and collaborating with the business to define technical solutions for requirements. You will work with both sides of the stack, using C#/.NET for the back-end and Angular and HTML5 for trader-facing visualization tools.

This position offers the chance to work across asset classes and collaborate with different technology and business teams, with a history of promoting internal growth. You will also support trade signal dashboards, trade systems, portfolio management tools, and participate in developing new APIs and CI/CD pipelines.

The fund has demonstrated impressive earnings year-over-year, providing career stability, longevity, and growth opportunities within the organization.

      You will work onsite Monday-Thursday.

      Requirements:

      • 3+ years of software engineering experience with C#/.NET technologies
      • Experience with multi-asset class trading platforms, ideally with fixed income
      • Hands-on experience with Angular and HTML5
      • Proficiency with SQL
      • Experience with REST APIs
      • Python experience is a plus
      • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
      • Excellent communication skills
