What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist System Administrators with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS) in a public safety setting
- Maintain Training/Test and Production environments to ensure high system uptime
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server for database management and data validation
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with state and federal reporting standards
- Manage user permissions and troubleshoot security issues within the CAD/RMS ecosystem
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred
- Basic understanding of Relational Databases (SQL)
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and networking basics
- Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers

- Experience with data analysis and translating data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) security policy requirements
- Previous internship or practical experience in IT or public safety technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
