      Now Hiring: Cafe Supervisor
      Location: Tropical Smoothie Cafe - North Springfield, MO

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Oversee all café operations, including staff supervision, training, inventory management, and customer service.
      • Ensure food and beverages meet company standards, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
      • Train and develop café staff on food handling, customer service, and safety protocols.
      • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and team morale.
      • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
      • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
      • Ensure completion of checklists, requisitions, and opening/closing procedures.
      • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
      • Interact positively with guests, promoting café and hotel facilities.
      • Embrace O’Reach, OHX, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
      • Perform other duties as required.

      Hours:

      • Schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

      Education & Experience:

      • Minimum 2 years of food and beverage/restaurant experience. Management or supervisory experience preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with different coffee blends.

      Skills & Abilities:

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
      • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and proper food handling.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
      • Ability to resolve problems efficiently and motivate a team.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport food and cooking utensils weighing up to 10 pounds.
      • Must be able to bend, lift, and store items overhead.

      Physical Activity:

      • Includes stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.

      Environmental Conditions:

      • Mostly indoor work with exposure to temperature changes and extremes of heat.
