What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct in-person and virtual support to early childhood educators and home-based care providers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance their capacity in responding to children’s developmental needs
- Engage in reflective practice to improve personal and professional development
- Facilitate the connection to community resources and promote inclusive policies
- Attend to the well-being of staff and providers in relation to their work with young children and families
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health, counseling, early childhood education, or a closely related field
- At least 3 years of experience providing training, technical assistance, or consultation in child care and early education settings
- At least 1 year of experience with reflective practice
- Experience working directly with children from birth to five years and their families
- Knowledge of social and emotional development and trauma-informed practices in early childhood settings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Clinical licensure or license eligible
- Experience working with home-based providers, including family child care home providers
- Endorsement in Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health and Reflective Practice Facilitation
- Knowledge of community resources for children and families
- Familiarity with inclusive practices and IDEA and ADA requirements
