What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide in-person and virtual support to child care administrators, teachers, staff, and home-based care providers
- Collaborate with educators to develop strategies for addressing children's developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Facilitate reflective practice and provide resources to enhance capacity within early childhood education settings
- Promote inclusive and equitable policies and practices that support all children and families
- Connect families and providers with community resources to support children's well-being
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health, counseling, early childhood special education, early childhood education, or child development
- At least 3 years of experience providing training, technical assistance, and/or consultation in early childhood education
- At least 1 year of experience in reflective practice
- Experience working directly with children birth through five years old and their families
- Knowledge of social and emotional development and trauma-informed practices in early childhood settings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Clinical licensure or license eligibility
- Experience working with home-based providers and family child care settings
- Endorsement in Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health and Reflective Practice Facilitation
- Familiarity with IDEA and ADA requirements
- Knowledge of community resources for families with children ages birth to five
