What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of access for clients, capturing demographic and insurance information for electronic health records
- Address calls related to Medication Follow-Up Appointments in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide exceptional client service, demonstrating high-level customer service skills
- Obtain and accurately document demographic and clinical information in the electronic database
- Collaborate with other departments, community agencies, and mental health consumers to promote a culture of cooperation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Timely and accurate data entry capabilities
- Familiarity with HIPAA-related rules and regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role, particularly within a healthcare or behavioral health setting
- Demonstrated active listening skills and ability to empathize with clients
