What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate or handle calls with customers by phone
- Help customers improve their financial position by understanding their situation, responding with empathy, and creating solutions
- Educate customers on account terms and payment plans
- Negotiate and offer solutions for repayment that best suit the consumer and the business
- Provide accurate and detailed documentation of accounts to ensure proper follow-up
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or GED
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in the Windows operating system
- Customer service experience with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Prior experience in a call center or similar role
- Understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
