What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accept incoming calls promptly and make outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments electronically for new and established patients while maintaining accuracy
- Resolve patient and provider questions related to referrals, pre-authorizations, and insurance verifications
- Index medical records according to defined processes
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills while maintaining a helpful disposition
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR)
- Proven research and problem-solving abilities
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen
- Excellent attendance and punctuality with the ability to meet established performance metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a medical office or call center setting
- Familiarity with pre-registration and scheduling processes
