What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate or handle calls with customers by phone
- Assist customers in improving their financial position through empathetic understanding and solution creation
- Educate customers on account terms and payment plans
- Negotiate and propose repayment solutions that suit both the consumer and the business
- Provide accurate documentation of accounts to ensure proper follow-up
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in the Windows operating system
- Strong typing skills
- Prior experience in a call center or similar role
- Understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
