What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle all customer contacts by phone accurately and professionally
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide first contact resolution
- Educate participants on program processes, timelines, and requirements
- Communicate concerns between owners, tenants, and the Public Housing Authority (PHA)
- Perform data entry into SharePoint and PHA business systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma is required
- Minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience
- Experience with a public agency or related work in social or community services is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary for conducting interviews
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Education equivalent to a two-year degree from a regionally accredited institution in Public Administration, Social Science, or a closely related field
- Ability to apply regulations pertaining to the program
- Strong computer and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
