      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage incoming calls to the employer's call center, directing them to appropriate personnel
      - Screen patient calls, take accurate messages, and return calls as needed
      - Schedule acute (same day) appointments in collaboration with the Office Manager and nursing supervisor
      - Collect and enter patient registration and demographic data into the computer system
      - Provide translation services for non-English speaking callers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in secretarial science or equivalent preferred
      - Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese required
      - Minimum of 1 year of similar work experience or experience in a medical office environment preferred
      - Proficient in computer skills for accurate data entry, typing a minimum of 35 words per minute
      - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in a fast-paced, high telephone call volume office environment
      - Additional language proficiency beyond English and Spanish/Portuguese
