      Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) is the IT department in charge of the definition, the delivery and support of Infrastructure Services.

      These services include the application hosting, the identity management, the network, the collaboration tools (videoconference, new ways of working, ...), the devices (laptops, mobiles) and the IT Service Desk (in France).

      To support our growing internal businesses, we need the best support organization that ensures that everything is working perfectly. The Campus IT Support Manager is responsible for the quality of the IT Infrastructure Services at CHANEL offices (based in Paris, France) and will plan, lead and be involved in all IT related tasks for the sites under his management.

      The Campus IT Support Manager oversees all operational tasks related to the sites such as meeting rooms, problem management and request follow-up. Also, he/she is in charge to help to coordinate the preparation of local events (e.g. COMEX meetings, Employee Broadcasted Presentations, …). She / He have to create a real partner relationship with the local internal businesses.

      This role will report directly to the IT France Support Director in SCI Team and functionally attached to the infrastructure business partner.

      • Key responsibilities

      1° Manage and facilitate the communication between GIS and Local Business (Europe Region / Fashion / P&B / WFJ) related to support/roll out activities

      • Coordinate the GIS IT team (external support provider, network teams...), creating a collaborative and productive working environment.
      • Own GIS strategic objectives (services) and assure the local technical roll out.
      • Represent and advocate GIS interests within the organization.
      • Be the contact point in order to manage major incidents and problems
      • Take in charge the management of specific requests / projects related to special situations (onboarding, new business needs…)

      2° Build a relationship with key referents from businesses in order to build actions proactively to enhance end user experience on sites

      • Build the relationship and gather feedback from Business Department Directors to make sure support is in line with expectations.
      • Oversee the customer request distribution and timely resolution within the Local IT team of the site.
      • Provide quality reporting on operational tasks and status of support, budget and inventory.
      • Be the technical and managerial escalation level for the key referents
      • In charge to schedule and animate governance meetings (Example: IT SCI Business Committee)

      3° Be the unique contact point to facilities Team for the Campus under his management for GIS needs

      • Manage real estate projects
      • Prepare and support events in collaboration with facilities Team
      • Be the entry point to qualify new solutions (IOT devices, collaborative solutions…) in order to integrate it to GIS service catalog

      4° Oversee the respect of processes and data consistency

      • Ensure Software and Hardware standards and inventory are updated and accurate.
      • Ensure that all requests follow security best practices.

      5° Be able to perform actions directly

      • Perform basic technical actions on AD account, assets management...
      • Assist the Support event team on Events

      • Position requirements

      General requirements

      • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Economics.
      • 5+ years Information Services in a customer-facing role.
      • Must demonstrate a commitment to company values.
      • Bilingual French and English written and spoken.
      • Understanding of the organizations’ goals and objectives.
      • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
      • Proven ability to build relationships, to cooperate and communicate with individuals and stakeholders from various backgrounds and hierarchical levels
      • Good management and organizational skills
      • Easily able to adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
      • Proactive and customer oriented
      • Expertise in PC and laptop support and latest hardware news
      • Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Collaborative Tools and Videoconference/Multimedia meeting room technologies
      • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite
      • Good knowledge of printing materials, networking, cabling, SCCM, Active Directory
