This is an on-site position.
Anticipated Hours Per Week:
Approximately 8-12 hours per week, although can vary week to week. Schedule:
Prefer at least 3-4 hour blocks of time, either in AM or PM; weekend availability required. Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Public speaking or customer service experience desirable.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Conduct guided tours of the State Capitol and staff the information desk. Tasks include: providing directions and information to visitors; selling merchandise; counting inventory; distributing, collecting, and cleaning headphones and receivers; and other public service tasks. Public speaking or customer service experience desirable. Number of hours per week is dependent on class schedule and remaining work study award. Work Study required. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM, and Sunday 12 PM – 4:15 PM.
Physical Demands:
Walking up and down stairs. At times, lifting boxes may be required.
