What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a caring, positive, and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Verify and ensure accuracy of key patient information for safety and billing purposes.
- Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments while managing cancellations and communicating changes to providers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing referrals for multiple clinics, adhering to referral management policies.
- Utilize the Epic system to manage phone calls, messages, and administrative tasks as needed.

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service and/or clerical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with patient registration processes and insurance verification
- Additional certifications related to healthcare administration or customer service
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or precept new team members
- Experience with two-way texting platforms for patient communication
