What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a caring, positive, and professional demeanor in all interactions
- Verify and ensure key patient information is accurate for safety and billing processes
- Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments, including managing cancellations and rescheduling
- Handle incoming and outgoing referrals for multiple clinics, adhering to referral management policies
- Assist with administrative tasks, including answering calls and responding to patient messages
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service and/or clerical experience
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in patient information
- Familiarity with patient registration processes and systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic
