What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make outbound phone calls to Members and Providers regarding home health care services
- Answer inbound calls from members and providers regarding home health care services
- Assess member satisfaction of home health care services and outreach to providers on behalf of members
- Collaborate with Clinical staff regarding authorized services to reduce barriers to care
- Carry out strategies to obtain authorized services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a health care setting
- Managed care experience preferred
- Medical assistant, home health aide, nursing assistant, or similar health care para-professional training or certification preferred
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows-based environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Medical terminology, ICD, CPT, and/or coding experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and confidentiality with strong organizational skills
- Ability to attend in-service trainings as needed
