What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer prayer line calls and screen for appropriate support based on caller communication
- Provide professional and personal support, demonstrating empathy for callers' struggles and needs
- Complete prayer edits and perform other tasks for the ministry as needed
- Support additional communication channels such as emails, chat, and text
- Collaborate with other departments and maintain a high level of accuracy when providing information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on ministry experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a customer service environment required
- Solid understanding of scripture and strong knowledge of God's word
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office products and social media platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associates degree (or higher) in biblical studies, theology, or equivalent
- Bilingual skills
- Previous ministry training (volunteer, leadership, or staff training)
