'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... willingness to onboard and help develop new hires?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... knowledge of MWT operations?PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to support MWT leaders in growing and advancing Partners?We are looking for:- a passion to help Partners grow their career at H-E-B, from day 1!- experience in MWT operations or clerical work, and in onboarding / coaching- advanced communication skillsWhat is the work?Administration:- Ensures completion of onboarding for each new and transfer Partner, including finalizing new hire paperwork; Schedules New Hire Orientation; assigns / introduces a Partner mentor in assigned area - Collaborates with Facility Admin(s) to transition new hires from completion of new hire paperwork to orientation- Consults Team Leaders to assign / introduce a Partner mentor for new-hire training- Partners with Team Leaders to ensure hourly non-management Partners complete required training- Schedules / coordinates instructor-led and computer-based trainings; ensures all new-hire OJT completion is documented- Tracks execution of Assigned Facility training- Schedules first 45-Day, 90-day and 6 months Partner Connections with assigned Partners and Leaders- Conducts 21-day Partner Connection- Reviews internal communications- Supports Facility/Ops Leader in talent planning for MWT hourly Partners; provides weekly Facility Talent updates related to hiring, onboarding, training, and Partner career planning and growth- Coordinates career conversations and development series sessions for hourly non-management Partners with Facility leadership- Works with Facility leadership to provide accurate, timely, and candid feedback about Partner strengths and training developmental needs (based on any career path conversations had, in partnership with Team Leaders)- Communicates Partner (employee / associate) concerns to Facility leadership and HR Manager when appropriate- Performs other duties as neededCoaching:- Proactively supports Partner career development- Promotes company values, competencies, and learning culture; fosters teamwork and collaborationWhat is your background?- High school diploma or equivalent- Experience in MWT operations or in a clerical, administrative role, including scheduling and reporting- Experience in scheduling, reporting, and tracking- Experience in on-boarding / communicating with groups - Completion of required job skills and compliance-related trainingDo you have what it takes to be a fit as a Career Coach at H-E-B?- Knowledge of the business and MWT operations- Advanced verbal / written communication skills- Advanced interpersonal skills- PC skills; proficiency in MS Office and PeopleSoft- Time-management, planning, coordinating, and organization skills- Problem solving and analytical skills- Ability to adjust coaching and communication styles as needed- Ability to provide feedback and effectively communicate to Partners- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; detail-oriented- Ability to work independently; self-motivatedCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, demanding environment that requires detailed, precision work- Work a flexible schedule (onboarding may occur on weekends, overnight or during late evening)- Work with Partners, staying attentive to their needs- Constantly* sit, reach at waist, and grasp- Frequently perform fine motor movements- Occasionally stand, walk, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push / pull with arms, pinch, and shoulder circumduction- Occasionally be exposed to cold & hot temperatures, loud noise, wet conditions- Demonstrate the ability to lift 35 lbs and manage more than 35 lbs*** While there may be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally defined as--Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently: 2.5 - 5.5 hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally: 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hour day** It is Partners' responsibility to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and / or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.06-2023
