- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) o Regional Career Services Managers who were promoted to their role from within Ross and have a degree completion plan in place to meet the minimum requirement, will have the title Regional Career Services Manager, and will generally have up to 1.5 years to obtain their degree and meet the full requirements of the job. Every six months they will have a check-in with Human Resources and the EVP of Career Services to confirm progress towards the degree completion. Failure to complete the degree in a timely and agreed upon schedule may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

CAREER SERVICES MANAGER
The Regional Career Services Manager (RCSM) works remotely under the direction of the EVP of Career Services to achieve placement goals and objectives for Ross programs across all schools in their region. The RCSM will have direct report responsibility for the Regional Career Service Representatives (RCSR) assigned to their region including hiring, oversight and performance management. He/she will work as a hands-on contributor directly with students/graduates to establish relationships, support professional development, resume creation, job search, and placement. He/she will establish partnerships with Externship Sites to secure assignments for students. They will manage the externship process by assigning students to appropriate Canvas sessions and be responsible for monitoring participation and assignment completion. They will drive and participate in developing leads, scheduling interviews, and securing, documenting and tracking placements of graduates. This will involve making sales/service calls to employers, networking and conducting live meetings, presentations as required. The RCSM will be accountable for placement metrics, CampusVue documentation/tracking and compliance with accreditation requirements. This position will also be responsible for supporting implementation of virtual service delivery components to support placement outcomes and providing applicable training to assigned RCSRs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job Development and Placement
• Work directly with students and graduates to promote positive outcomes
• Serve as Career Services resource and contact for students/graduates
• Generate and develop job leads across broad geographic locations
• Work collaboratively with campus leadership and RCSRs to develop job leads, and coordinate interviews and placement opportunities for graduates
• Make employer service/sales calls remote or in person as appropriate
• Implement and manage Career Services initiatives
• Coordinate completion of Surveys/Summaries/Action Plans
• Achieve placement metrics for all programs within region
Student Career Development
• Develop and maintain professional student relationships
• Participate in new student orientation as appropriate
• Monitor student progress in preparation for graduation and placement (in Canvas)
• Manage student requirements/participation in Jr. Meetings, Mini-presentations & Externship Seminars
• Work with students/graduates regarding career preparation, mock interviews and job placement
• Utilize Ross Edge to assist students with resumes, cover letters and thank you letters
• Work with students on professional development (i.e. dress, attitude, communication, etc.)
• Maintain contact with unplaced graduates via weekly calls, virtual touch points, social media, etc.
• Coordinate certification exams and results tracking as needed
Externship Assignment and Development
• Identify
and develop qualified externship sites and Affiliation Agreements to support students
• Coordinate and confirm student externship assignments
• Collaborate with campus academic leadership to complete externship requirements (Site Approvals, Faculty Phone Checklists, etc.)
• Manage, secure and process documents required
• Manage participation and completion of virtual externship seminar
• Track and report Externship outcomes as directed
Recordkeeping, Compliance and Data Integrity
• Responsible for tracking and reporting of graduate placement
• Ensure proper documentation of in CampusVue in accordance w/ ABHES & Ross compliance standards
• Complete reports as required
• Utilize CampusVue reporting to manage placement process and ensure data integrity
• Ensure all placements comply with required ABHES and Ross guidelines
Leadership
• Provide leadership, training, coaching and performance management to direct reports

Requirements
• 1-2 years of proven sales or sales experience from jobs like outplacement, workforce development, placement/recruiting, public relations, business development, advertising, marketing or other related positions
• Experience developing client relationships and closing personal leads
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop rapport with students and guide their professional development using telephone and electronic communication tools
• Computer skills including MS Office, Internet, e-mail and general knowledge of data entry and database tools
• Demonstrate professionalism in manner, dress & conduct as representative of Ross & student mentor
Preferred Requirements
Previous experience in post-secondary and/or online education programs
