      Job Title: Carpentry Foreman

      Job Description

      We are seeking a Carpentry Foreman who will eventually run their own jobs once trained. The role involves inspecting attics, roofs, and siding entry points for bats and other small animals, performing light carpentry on window soffits and foundations, and providing solutions to help wildlife leave naturally. Training will be provided for all tasks.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform interior and exterior inspections of customer properties, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces to identify wildlife entry points and potential vulnerabilities.
      • Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and other barriers to prevent wildlife access.
      • Conduct minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other areas where wildlife may gain entry.
      • Utilize trapping and relocation techniques to safely remove wildlife from properties.
      • Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
      • Provide detailed reports and review completed scope of work with customers.
      • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
      • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided and address any ongoing concerns.

      Essential Skills

      • 2+ years of general construction experience
      • Knowledge of carpentry, framing, general labor, rough carpentry, drywall, and finish carpentry
      • Proficiency with hand and power tools
      • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
      • Willingness to submit to a post-offer, pre-employment check

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Light carpentry experience preferred

      Work Environment

      You must be comfortable working outdoors and in attics, which can get hot and cold. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. You will work out of your own company truck after training, which includes maintaining an orderly vehicle by cleaning and restocking materials.

      This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
