What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and process applications for commutations, pardons, and parole hearings
- Maintain case statistics and prepare reports on trends for the Board
- Assist in responding to public records requests and legislative inquiries
- Conduct presentations to various groups and agencies
- Update and maintain information on the Board's website
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a closely related field
- Minimum of five years of work experience in the criminal justice system
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite platforms (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree or Juris Doctor degree
- Experience with public speaking and presentations
- Familiarity with criminal court records and the criminal justice process
- Skills in data analysis and report preparation
- Ability to navigate high-pressure situations effectively
