What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assure accurate and timely posting of electronic and paper payments, denials, refunds, and adjustments
- Run reports to reflect the performance of the Accounts Receivable Department
- Retrieve and interpret Remittance Advice notices and Explanation of Benefits
- Balance and reconcile revenue with report generation
- Analyze, research, and resolve discrepancies in cash application and refund processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing/payment posting experience
- Proficiency in Excel/Word
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare reimbursement
- Proven ability to multi-task and work with automated billing systems
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Proficient in research to resolve issues

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4 years of experience in healthcare medical payment posting or billing
