What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manually enter remittances and post payments, adjustments, and denials
- Retrieve and post remittances from payor websites
- Maintain accurate logs and spreadsheets for reconciliation
- Balance daily, weekly, and monthly bank deposit reports
- Investigate unidentified payments and resolve discrepancies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Associate's degree
- Three years of professional medical billing and collecting experience
- Two years of payment/cash posting experience in optometry and ophthalmology
- Knowledge of payor contracts and explanation of benefits

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with NextGen PM/EHR
- Two or more years of optometry and ophthalmology third-party billing expertise
