What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Compile and analyze cash processing information to support business operations of the Enterprise Cashiers Department
- Monitor EFT transactions and bank statements, preparing vendor information for Cash Supervisors
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliation and identify trends for senior management
- Collaborate with internal Finance team members and other departments to ensure timely cash posting and reconciliation
- Perform ad-hoc analytical tasks as assigned by the Cash Manager and/or Director of Shared Revenue Services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of financial experience required; healthcare experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statement preparation and ability to research and interpret data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proficient in General Ledger Systems and spreadsheet/word processing software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Patient Financial Services
- Broad knowledge of healthcare accounting and systems
- Ability to train others and work independently in a complex environment
- Experience in communicating analyses to Senior Management for decision-making
