Job Description

- Performs all duties as a Cashier in a successful manner.
- Demonstrates and clearly communicates performance and customer service standards and expectations to all cashiers and evaluates the execution of that performance. Acting as a leader in the store and is a critical member of the store team.
- Oversees cashiers and manage front end traffic, maximizing the service experience for all customers.
- Leads and train cashiers and creates daily work assignments. Demonstrates and teaches Excellence in Customer Service.
- Improves the cashier team’s transacting accuracy through training and follow up. • Handles customer questions, problems, and conflicts as they arise with urgency and professionalism.
- Maintain all store presentation, merchandising and cleanliness standards on the front end. • Assist upper management with feedback for hiring, supervision, reviews, corrective action, and counseling.

PURPOSE Responsible to perform all necessary duties of a Cashier. Responsible to accurately, efficiently, and professionally oversee the front end staff. Will supervise all cashiers and ensure that everything possible is done to meet customer, associate and business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two (2) years cashier or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous retail experience as a lead or supervisor required. Requires knowledge of the organization, products and/or services.
