- Team workload coordination, resolution of escalations and/or procedural problems, and prioritization based on business OKR’s.
- Assists the manager with the operation of the cashiering department.
- Responds to more complex inquiries and issues from Customers and internal departments. Provides researched responses and resolutions.
- Performs duties of Cashiering associates on an as needed basis while acting as an experienced resource for team; including but not limited to processing or reviewing of ACH payments, wires, lockbox payments, payoffs, suspense account management, and system generated reports.
- Provide Cashiering Manager day-to-day support and insight to the metrics and performance of the team to include quality control reviews of all Cash Operations staff.
- Ensure proper application of all incoming payments through the various payment options established by the company.
- Maintain all bank reconciliations for Payment Clearing, Disbursement Clearing and Remittance Clearing accounts.
- Review, balance and approve all outgoing wires.
- Participate in the creation, review and updating of departmental procedures.
- Ensure compliance within all procedures according to guidelines, regulations and management expectations.
- Present proposals to management for changes and improvements to processes and SLA’s.
- Assist with credit reporting data analyses.
- Create and disburse monthly/weekly reporting to all lines of business -PIF, Outstanding Check, Outstanding Corp Advances, etc.
- Manage certified funds tracking and notification processes.
- Complete escheatment process by establishing funds that need to be escheated, monitor, track and disburse funds, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Provide a “WOW” experience and effectively communicate with associates, clients, partners, and vendors via phone, written communication and/or in person.
- Seek Feedback: Host regular and timely communication with associates and Manager.
- Be willing to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise.
- Have strong organization skills, the ability to learn quickly, and accuracy/timeliness in completing tasks.
- Perform all actions in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.
- Expected to meet productivity guidelines of the position.
- Effectively use software specific for the position and Microsoft office products.
- Work well with other members of the EHL team and be willing to fill in when needed.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of progressive experience in loan servicing for mortgage banking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- Minimum 1 year of team lead experience, required
- 2-4 years mortgage loan servicing cashiering experience
- Experience with LPS/Black Knight/MSP servicing software, preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations applicable to mortgage and consumer lending with considerable knowledge of loan servicing practices
- Analytical ability sufficient to apply data and information to the solution of administrative and operating problems
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and analyze accounts and records of a complex, detailed and recurring nature
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently to attain common goals and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Proven experience maintaining strict confidentiality
- Must be comfortable working in a start-up dynamic environment
- Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard working.
- Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients and vendors.
- Good communication skills. Neat, clean, healthy work habits.
- Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift, which may include extended periods of sitting and/or standing. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
- May be required to drive for business purposes and if so, must hold a driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with EHL’s Auto Insurance policy.

This position assists the Cashiering Manager and oversees the day-to-day workflow of the Cashiering Team to ensure the cash operations performed manually and/or through automation are processed timely and accurately; including activities such as cash transaction applications, check depositing through remote deposit capture, check printing, reconciliation and distribution.
